The creation of OSSP IPEOS, is the idea of a project resulting from the meeting of various actors of new technologies and social and economic life of the west-indians, who after confrontation of their experiments searched for new approaches to facilitate the appropriation of the IT&T in Guadeloupe. Organization and dematerialization: Internet Protocol and Open Source.

The purpose of IPEOS company is the design of business and collaborative tools for west-indian and guianese organizations.

The innovation is based on the methodology used guaranteeing of the modular, evolutionary, integrable solutions in different environments, by minimizing costs, impact and time of appropriation of these tools by the organization user.

In addition, an analysis of the information system, the solutions suggested, respects the organisational system of the company or community user. This methodology makes it possible to respect the specifities of the concerned area: ultraperiphery, atomization of economic fabric, partners moving into linguistic contexts, legal, social, different schedules, french link in the caribbean between Europe and the Americas.

The offer of IPEOS as a whole is built on university researches on organisational sociology undertaken by the University of Antilles-Guyane, and on the work of community open source representing 10 million active contributors, at the origin of the main tools and standards of the internet.

In more of offering dematerialization solutions, IPEOS is a french and creole content provider. The broadcasting of IPEOS solutions in the whole caribbean area will also enable the increase of french-speaking contents on internet, and its access and presence to a zone which is generally apart.

IPEOS respects the standards of the web to allow the widest diffusion possible of these contents, and their accessibility to the majority: search engines, handicaped people using systems of assistance of navigation... IPEOS solutions require only one software of internet navigation and are functional including with reduced bandwidths.
